Day 4 - Perfume Pagoda

The sampan ride starts here....

One hour slow sampan ride on this calm river to the foothill of the Perfume Pagoda.

Slow and steady paddling up the river...
So calm, so peaceful, so beeeeaauutiful!
Like heaven on earth...
So quiet & untouched with occasional sightings of white cranes flying from one hill to another.
One hour sampan ride is just too short...
The Bia Thien Tru House
A short hike up to the Pagoda. Along the way, I bought some wild sweet potatoes and yam. Sweetest and tastiest that I've ever had!
Stairway to Heaven? Probably is. It does felt like heaven!
Entering the Perfume Pagoda. This Pagoda is actually a cave.
A natural rock formation that resembles a figure of a Chinese Deity.
